As promised, here’s the exact route I usually follow for a long weekend in Miami.
The places I always go back to, the areas I love walking around, and what I typically pack in my suitcase.
Save it for your next trip and if you try any of these, let me know :)
Where to eat
Breakfast:
Agua Miel: Without a doubt, order the açai bowl. It’s the perfect start after a morning walk
El Bagel: Simple, casual and one of the best bagels in Miami
Zak the Baker: A Miami classic. Everything is amazing but the pastries are next level
Pura Vida: Best smoothies in town. Very Miami, very healthy, very cute.
Cafe Du Bey: Great if you want something a bit more relaxed and less touristy.
Sable: Perfect for coffee, matcha or smoothies + a bagel.

Comer / Cenar
Coyo Taco: Casual, fun and perfect if you’re spending the afternoon in Wynwood.
Skinny Louie: One word: smashburger.
Casa Tua: One of my favourite places in Miami. Beautiful garden and perfect for dinner.
Claudie: Very chic, very Miami
Pastis: The New York classic that now lives in Miami.
Forte Dei Marmi: If you’re craving Italian.
Mandolin Aegean Bistro: Probably one of the most beautiful restaurants in Miami.
Mister O1: The best pizza in Miami (and they deliver).
Gianni´s: If you love fashion history, it’s worth going just to see Gianni Versace’s house. The food is good, but the location is the real reason to go.
Rusty Pelican: Go for sunset views of the Miami skyline.
Sunny´s Stakehoues: Perfect for a proper dinner night.
Kith treats: best icecream!

Where to shop
Best area Design District
Alo: Perfect if you want a new workout set.
Kith: Great for streetwear and (again) the ice cream.
The RealReal: Always worth checking for designer vintage pieces.
Acne Studios: Minimal, cool and always a good idea.
Peachtree Vintage & Secondhand: One of my favourite spots if you like vintage finds.

Areas you shouldn’t miss
Miami Beach. Walk through Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road.
Key Biscayne. Beach + the lighthouse. One of my favourite escapes from the city.
Design District. Fashion, architecture and the best boutiques.
Wynwood. Street art, galleries and a great vibe during the day.
Surfside: More relaxed and local.
Coconut Groove. Green, charming and very pretty to walk around.
Coral Gables. Beautiful Mediterranean-style architecture.
